New Patient Information
Whether you’ve scheduled a first visit at Crozet Blue Ridge Dental or Charlottesville Blue Ridge Dental, we can’t wait to welcome you in as the newest member of our oral health care family! Below, new patients will find all of the information they need to know before arriving. If you have any questions or concerns about the following, please let us know so that we can assist you.
Your First Visit
Generally, we like to schedule an hour and a half for your initial visit. After our front desk has warmly greeted you and ensured that your paperwork is completed, you’ll be escorted back to the treatment chair by one of our talented hygienists. Then, it will be time for an in-depth discussion of your dental history, any concerns you’re having about your smile, and the goals you have for future care. X-rays will be captured, followed by full periodontal charting.
One of our dentists will then arrive and introduce themselves before performing a comprehensive examination. They’ll discuss any findings with you and recommend treatment options that are a good fit for your personal situation; our team will arrange cost estimates and other important information too so that you will have everything you need to know upfront. After undergoing a cleaning (if needed) and financial/scheduling arrangements with the front desk, you’ll be leaving with a new, bright future for your smile!
Paperwork is always a standard part of first dental appointments, but now our patients can save themselves some valuable time by completing it conveniently at home. Just follow the links below (make sure to pick the right office), download the files, print them out, and write in all of your relevant info. After that, all you have to do is remember to bring them with you for the front desk, and any time you spend in our waiting room will be greatly minimized as a result.
Charlottesville Blue Ridge Dental and Crozet Blue Ridge Dental are both in-network providers for several major PPO plans, including Delta, Metlife, Anthem, Guardian, Cigna, United Concordia, Ameritas, Aetna, and more. We will file all claims on our patients’ behalf as needed and work with you to make the reimbursement process smooth and stress-free. If you’re unsure whether or not we’ll work with your specific coverage, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at either location.
Are you and your family not currently covered by a dental insurance plan? That doesn’t have to mean that quality care is financially out of reach. Both of our locations are happy to accept payment plans through CareCredit and Lending Club! Just follow the correct link below to apply today. Their financing comes in a variety of flexible lengths with little or even no interest attached. These plans can be used on a wide variety of treatment plans, including cosmetic-minded services that wouldn’t be covered by insurance anyway.
